CSK vs DC – Match 7 Review, IPL 2020

Chennai Super Kings lost another match in chasing a target of 175 against Delhi Capitals (DC). Delhi Capitals won their second match of 13th edition of IPL2020 with 44 Runs on September 25th 2020.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to field first, in reply Delhi Capitals gave a huge target of 175 Runs. Star among the Delhi Capitals batting was Prithvi Shaw, who had a brilliant knock of 64 runs in 43 balls with 9 fours and 1 six.

Delhi Capitals had a very good first wicket partnership of 94 runs between P Shaw and Shekar Dhawan. S Dhawan, RR Pant and SS Iyer contributed to the total with their scores of 35, 37 and 26 respectively.

With the run rate of 8.75 and with the loss of 3 wickets, Delhi Capitals made 175 Runs in 20 overs.

In reply, Chennai Super Kings had a slow start by the openers M Vijay and SR Watson and added only 23 runs in 4 overs when the first wicket fell. F du Plessis again fought single handedly and scored 43 of 35 balls.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had to r-think on their batting lineup because it’s their second loss in 3 matches they played in IPL2020 and the two losses occurred while chasing.

KXIP vs RCB – IPL 2020 Match 6 Review

Match 6 of Indian Premier League 2020 had an importance among all the matches played, because we saw an spectacular century from the Kings XI Punjab captain KL Rahul (132 Runs of just 69 Balls). KL Rahul reached the century with brilliant fours and sixes, he made 14 fours and 7 sixes to reach 132 Runs in 69 balls and helped the team to reach 206/3 in 20 overs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won the toss and elected to field first, which proved wrong after seeing the fabulous batting display from KL Rahul.

Kings XI Punjab started brilliantly with the first wicket partnership of 57 runs in 7 overs. The second wicket also had a very good partnership of 57 runs between N Pooran and KL Rahul.

In the last 5 overs Kings XI Punjab made 80 Runs and in just the last 2 overs they got 49 Runs. Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli dropped KL Rahu twice (he was 83(55) and 89(59)) in the depth over after which KL Rahul himself got 49 runs more.

In reply to the huge target of 209, the Royal Challengers Bangalore were never in the run chase as wickets were falling at regular intervals and got allout for just 109 runs in 17 Overs. The highest was 30 runs made by Washington Sundar in 27 Balls.

Bowling from Kings XI Punjab was brilliant in defending the huge target of 206, all the bowlers have picked the wicket and Ravi Bishnoi and Ashwin took 3 wickets each.

MI vs KKR – IPL 2020 Match 5 Review

Mumbai Indians, four time Indian Premier League champions, had their first win in 13th edition on Indian Premier League 2020 against Kolkata Knight Riders on 23rd September 2020.

5th IPL 2020 match was played between MI vs KKR on 23rd September 2020 at Abu Dhabi, Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and elected to field first, Mumbai Indian in 20 overs made a huge total of 195/5.

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma batted brilliantly in the match and made 80 runs in just 54 balls with 3 fours and 6 sixes. SA Yadav also batted equally alongside his captain and made 47 runs of just 28 balls with 6 fours and one six. Rohit Sharma and SA Yadav had 90 runs for the second wicket partnership.

SS Tiwary (21 runs in 13 balls with 1 four and 1 six), HH Pandya (18 runs of 13 balls in ) and KA Pollard had added runs to the total-195 with their short innings.

Shivam Mavi was best from KKR bowling side, picked up two wickets by giving 32 runs in 4 overs.

In the history of Cricket the biggest Cricketing event after ICC Cricket World Cup was initiated cy Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) in the year of 2008 which is none other than Indian Premier League.

Indian Premier League was started with 8 teams (Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore , Sunrisers Hyderabad (Deccan Chargers)) created from different states of India.

The First match of IPL was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders on Friday April 18th 2008 at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.

KKR made 222/3 and RR got allout for 82. The best from the match was Brendon Mccullum, who scored 158 of 73 balls. The current 2020 BCCI President Sourav Ganguly was the captain of KKR.

RR vs CSK – 4th IPL 2020 Match Review

Rajasthan Royals (RR) vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

13th Edition of Indian Premier League 2020 already witnessed the high score match on Tuesday i.e 22nd September 2020. Rajasthan Royals Scored 216/7 in 20 overs and in reply Chennai Super Kings made 200/6 in 20 overs.

RR had a very good second wicket partnership between SPD Smith (69) and SV Samson (74) which laid a good foundation score of 216. The end for Rajasthan Royals was spectacular with back to back 4 sixes from JC Archer helped to reach that score. In 20th Over RR scored 30 Runs with 4 continuous sixes.

Rajasthan Royals would have expected more runs due to a good stand between Smith and Samson, however due to collapse in the middle order their expectation got changed.

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

Yet another close chasing finish at Indian Premier League 2020. At one stage when Bairstow was batting Sunrisers Hyderabad were favorites to win the match, till Yuzvendra Chahal took two back to back wickets in two balls in the 15th over. Then the quick fall of SRH wickets continued and got allout for 153 in 19.4 overs. In a span of 32 Runs Sunrisers Hyderabad lost 8 wickets in less than the 5 overs.

Initially Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field first. Royal Challengers Bangalore made 163/5 runs in 20 overs. D.Padikkal and AB de Villers made half centuries each and helped to get the defendable score of 163.

DC vs KXI P – 2nd IPL 2020 Match Review

Delhi Capitals vs Kings XI Punjab

A nail biting finish in the second IPL 2020 match between DC vs KXIP. Due to a spectacular batting display by MA Agarwal, the Kings XI Punjab were in the driver seat till last over.

They needed 13 Runs of 6 balls, MA Agarwal smashed 6, 2 and 4 in first 3 balls and the scores we’re equal at 157.  In the last 3 balls they just needed 1 run to win and the inform batsman Mayank Agarwal was at the wicket. The next ball he got beaten up and unfortunately, Mayank Agarwal got a full toss ball at sweeper cover. 

In the last ball CJ Jordan hit a full toss straight to the square leg and the match got tied and went into Super Over.

Initially the Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to field first. Delhi Capitals had a brisk start, where they lost 3 wickets for just 13 runs on the board in 4 overs. Then the two young Indian batsmen Rishab Pant and SS Iyer had a good partnership and added 70+ runs to the total after Pant lost his wicket in the 13th over. The very next over SS Iyer also lost his wicket and all thought Delhi Capital will score low in this match.

Then the final fireworks of Twenty Twenty (20-20) came by MP Stoinis, who scored 53 Runs in just 21 balls with 7 sixes and 3 fours and helped the Delhi Capitals to reach a respectable score of 157. 

At the end of 1st innings of 2nd Indian Premier League 2020 match, DC scored 157 with the loss of 8 wickets. The quick of the baller was Mohammed Shami, who picked 3 wickets by just giving 15 runs.

At one stage they completely lost the match, as they have to score 12 runs per over, however, Mayank Agarwal pulled them out from losing and were one run shot to win the 2nd IPL 2020 match.

The match got tie, due to the brilliant bowling from Marcus Stoinis in the last 3 balls, the KXIP lost two back to back wickets of Mayank Agarwal and Chris Jordan. And we had the first Indian Premier League 2020 “SUPER OVER”.

As expected the cricket entertainment with Sixes, Fours, Last minutes twists started with the first match of IPL T20, between Mumbai Indians Vs Chennai Super Kings.

Mumbai Indians were at their best in the Final with both Batting and Bowling. Delhi Capital elected to bat first and they managed to make only 156/7 in 20 overs. TA Boult yet another time was at his best in picking early wickets, he picked 3 wickets by giving away 30 runs in 4 overs.

In reply, Mumbai Indians chased down the total with ease Captain Rohit Sharma was at his best and scored 68 runs 51 balls and made the total look easy to chase in the end.

MI reached the target in 18.4 overs with the loss of 5 wickets (157/5), Trent Boult awarded the man of the match title for picking 3 wickets.
